IMPLEMENTATION

We collaborate closely with recognized conservation bodies and provincial governments to adhere to policies safeguarding peat bogs. By actively seeking input from these stakeholders, we uphold the highest standards of conservation while meeting industry demands.

Additionally, we are committed to integrating cutting-edge technologies like the Moss Layer Transfer Technique into our peat harvesting methods. This dedication allows us to minimize environmental impact and continually enhance our processes in line with sustainable practices.

Harvesting

Central to our approach is the restoration of harvested bogs using techniques such as the Moss Layer Transfer Technique. By reclaiming these areas and transforming them into functional wetlands, we contribute to ecological balance and biodiversity preservation.

Throughout our harvesting activities in northern Alberta, environmental stewardship guides our actions. Rigorous quality control measures, from initial clearing to final packaging, ensure that our peat products meet stringent standards.

Our harvesting process begins with meticulous preparation, including surface clearing and drainage to facilitate natural drying. We optimize this process by carefully managing water flow and harnessing sunlight and wind. Our vacuum harvesting technology efficiently collects the dried peat, which is then transported to our Edmonton facility for processing, screening, and packaging before reaching our customers.
